Hey Folks

New to the forum, just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm working on attaining my goal weight to be given a surgery date for RNY in Richmond at Kaiser.  I don't see too many other folks from the Sacramento area on here, but thought I'd give a shout out.

If there is a "correct" spot for introductions, I'm sorry but I didn't see it! 

Hello there I see your are going to be a "Bagget".  There are a few in my support group.  Welcome to the Cali page.  There are a great group of folks here to help you out.  Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Welcome to the Cali Forum.  I had surgery back in May and have posted lots of questions and have received great responses from people ahead of me in this process.  I am not in the Sacramento area, but I have noticed other folks who live somewhat near-by.  I even know a couple people who work at the Capitol who have had RNYs so they're out there.

Welcome! I look forward to hearing about your adventures in WLS.

This is a perfect place.  Just do what you did, start up and start typing.  Welcome to the board.  U will find there are people in your area, just not right this second probably off working.  So glad to meet you.  Please ask any questions you have and we will do our very best to answer all your questions.

Welcome to the Cali board...next to the circus, this is the greatest place to have fun and get all kinds of support and encouragement ;-)  I'm in  Sacramento, am a Richmond Kaiser WLS peep, had Dr Judy Parks.  If you are interested in support groups in our area, PM me...have a great group on Monday nites at Elk Grove Kaiser.

Hi Nancy, good to see someone else from Sactown around!  I would be very interested in the support group in EG.  I have been trying to find a local group desperately, I need the help to stay on track!  Is it just post-op, or pre-op and post-op too?
